There are only two months to Christmas (don’t shoot the messenger!) and while it might still seem far away if you haven’t started planning for your business you really need to start now.
If you sell online keep an eye on the Australia Post website to see when Christmas postage cut off dates are, especially for overseas. You should start promoting Christmas orientated products or gift vouchers now on your website as people are starting to search for gift ideas.
If you provide a service you may want to remind people that they need to book a time with you as leading up to Christmas can be busy and they don’t want to miss out.
Also closer to Christmas, if you have a physical shop make sure your closing and holiday times are clearly visible for customers to know, as well as any New Year sales.
Don’t forget that your webdesigner may be on holidays too, so if there are any changes that need to be made between Christmas and New Year let them know in advance.
