You’ve started a Twitter account but none of your customers know yet. Below are some simple ways you can let them know where to find you.
If you send out a newsletter let your subscribers know you’ve just started on Twitter, and put the link in every following newsletter.
Add it to your website, this can be simply the link to Twitter or you can embed Twitter updates within your website for visitors.
If you don’t have a website, add your twitter details to your business cards.
Put it in the signature of your email.
Make a small sign for your counter so customers can see it when they purchase, or make up small cards with the address and hand them out or put them in with their purchases when they buy from you.
Add it to your invoice and letterheads.
Word of mouth. Tell people when you’re talking to them, it may be family and friends or people you meet at a market or networking meeting, word of mouth travels fast.
