Our process
I have a process while making websites to make it easy for you and me.
Once you’ve decided you would like me to make your website I create two different website designs,
these will take into consideration:
- your logo
- your corporate colours
- your industry standards
- search engine optimisation
You can then choose your prefered design, or ask for changes on either one.
Once you have chosen a design I then start work on it and place it on a test server and email you the URL. This means while I am creating your website you will be able to visit it and watch its progress.
It won’t be accessable through your domain name until we are both happy that the information and design is complete, so you don’t have to worry about people viewing your website while it is half finished.
While I am working on the design of your website I will put up a “Website coming soon” page where your Domain Name is, so people know it is currently under construction.
Once your website is ready on the test server I then upload it to the server space allocated with your Domain Name and it is accessable to everyone on the internet.
I also submit it to the major search engines so they can start linking it as well. There are many different things that affect a websites search engine ranking. Some of them I do while making the website, and some of them are up to you once the website has been created.
